Antique Chinese Export Black Lacquer and Gilt Box - the rectangular hinged box beautifully hand-painted in gilt with three figures standing in a garden setting beside a Pavillion on a black lacquer ground over a wood base; the front painted with a faux lock and escutcheon. It dates from the late 18th to the mid 19th c. Condition: Very good, with a nick out of one corner, that in no way disturbs the integrity of the piece.

Elegant Pair of Antique Chinese Embroidered Sleevebands - Hand-embroidered in soft colors in silk in Peking stitch and Couching stitch with Plant Stands and Vases, Various Vessels and Flowers on an ecru silk ground, further banded in black silk with ecru silk borders. Condition: Very, Very Good as would be commensurate with age; light soil; a few loose threads and some missing stitches at the bottom corners, lined on the back. It will display beautifully.
