Large French Brass Figural Double Encrier Late 19th c.
A Nicely-shaped Pierced Brass Inkstand centered with the well-detailed face of Neptune flanked by two raised inkwells with decorative covers. The scroll decorations above the top of the face are curved upward to hold a writing implement; the removeable interiors of the wells are brass. The front is raised on two bun feet and a large decorative scroll. Unmarked, and very heavy, weighing slightly under 8 lbs. Condition: Excellent

Beautiful Antique English Balance Postal Scale made of Brass and mounted on a shaped, beveled Oak base with three brass weights- the largest is marked 2 oz. 1 1/2 ( D); the next size marked 1 oz; and the smallest is marked 1/4 oz. It bears a rectangular placque that states: INLAND LETTER RATES Not Exceeding 2 oz. ....1 1/2d. For every additional 2 ozs. 1/2 d. To All British possession, Egypt & America 1 1/2 d. per oz. each additional oz 1 d per oz. Foreign Countries 2 1/2 d. per oz each additional oz. 1 1/2 d. Condition: Very good; each of the two tables where the letter would rest are ever so slightly bent as would be commensurate with age and use; the three weights may or may not be original.

The old gentleman, realistically rendered in a hunting jacket, hat and boots, standing with his gun slung over his shoulder, binnoculars around his neck, and his faithful dog by his side carrying a pheasant; both shown standing on a base of grass and rocks. Signed 'Milios' on the back with Capidomonte mark ( Crown & N) on base; Italy 121. c. 1960'S. Condition: Excellent except for a minor chip on the tip of the feather on his hat.

Old Paris Porcelain Vase, 19th c., of trumpet form; the porcelain body of typical very white color, hand-painted on the front with floral panels above a drape, set with gilt rams' heads modeled as handles, the flaring fluted neck with gilt edge, on a socle and square foot base with gilt rim; the reverse with no panels.; an indistinguishible mark on the bottom. Condition: Excellent with fine gilding and minimal wear.
