Publisher notation to the lower left (Unread), single sheet, original fold lines. Slips into original slipcase. Condition: Very Good, as would be commensurate with age, handwritten on the Slipcase in pencil, 'Map of Nikko', light soil to slipcase.

Excellent color and detail; backed with thin old calligraphy paper as shown; couple of small holes repaired from the reverse, not noticeable.

Antique Japanese Oban Tate-e Triptych, Niskiki-e Comical (Giga-e) Woodblock Print - Yoshiiku Utagawa, 1860- Title: Kane kinchaku ojime no zendama ( Virtuous imps vying for the purse strings of a Nouveau-riche.Upper class beauties and Samurai at leisure, surrounded by evil spirits. The humanoid characters, dressed only in their underwear, incite iolence and immorality, influencing the people around them. The people oblivious to their presence as the ‘spirits’ climb on them, tugging at their sleeves and arms or sitting on their shoulders. Signed: Ikkeisai Yoshiiku giga (Drawn in fun); Publisher: Hirookaya Kôsuke; Censor’s Seal: Saru jû aratame (examined 10th mo. Year of the Monkey (1860). Condition: Excellent color and detail, excellent bleedthrough; three
