Antique Japanese Cast Iron Tea Ceremony Kettle with Bronze Lid - Signed Ryubundo zo - The segmented kettle with bronze recessed lid and decorative pierced knop, used for warming water during the 'tea ceremony'; the sides with elephant handles and iron rings; the lid signed in cursive on the interior, Ryubundo zo. It has wonderful patina. Condition: Very Good as would be commensurate with age and use; some rust present to the interior, and bottom as would be consistent with use; the knop is slightly tilted and will rotate, but is completely secure, one age spot as can be seen in the photos.
