Extra Long Antique Japanese Kiseru (Smoking Pipe) - Late Meiji period - The long segmented bamboo shaft with curling designs, the bowl and stem of silver (Yo-haku) or 'White Brass' (Haku-do) nicely decorated with a 'bellflower' and another unidentifiable symbol between fretwork and solid bands. Condition: Excellent, as would be commensurate with age and gentle use; nice natural patina.

Antique Japanese Lacquer Natsume (Tea Caddy) for dry powdered tea (Matcha), and is one of the accoutrements for the Japanese Tea Ceremony - Meiji Period - The cylindrical box with a flushfitting lid, covered allover in a rich chocolate brown lacquer, triple banded at the base. Condition: Very good with some minute chips to the edge of the cover, a slight separation to the side of the top and wear to the lacquer as would be commensurate with age and use.
