SETH THOMAS MARITIME CHRONOMETER SHIP'S CLOCK WITH KEY Original - 1930's-40's
Original Seth Thomas Maritime Chronometer Ship's Clock with Key - 1930s-40s- Dial marked "U.S. Maritime Commission". Sweep second hand; Phenolic water resistant case. The Fast and Slow adjustment is on the dial below the numeral 12. It was working and keeping good time today, but has stopped and started and stopped. Most likely an adjustment. The case is made of bakelite and is in very good condition; second hand has a slight bend, the dial and glass both are in excellent condition. I have not tried to open it to view the movement.
